and answer these three questions,
1. What Free information would you like me to make?
2. What frustrations are you having that you would you like me to address?
3. What’s the most important thing you feel you need to be successful?
We know that pigeon flyer that there loft is on line win much more then flyer that are not on line, Is there way to just
Hey Joe, thanks for commenting could you re-phrase your comment I didn’t really understand what you were trying to say. Thanks
Joe,
If your loft is offline and you are not doing well in the races concentrate on the Middle distance and long distance races. In the longer races all things equal out. For me Reno, 400 miles for me was my favorite. Its only on the short races where the online racers have the advantage.
I really only have one question and that is how do we attract young people into the sport ?
At our club rooms the language is disgraceful around the kids and u certainly wouldn’t take ur daughter their to hear that language.. I know they hear it at school and else where but wouldn’t it be nice to show THEM some respect and foster a warm caring environment?
Bragging about how many birds u killed recently !! My kids love their birds and cant get their heads around how some people treat the birds they say they LOVE ??
That’s it as a father of three kids that would like to see them kick on and go forward as the next generation of pigeon fliers …..

Hi Geoffrey, thanks for participating and sadly you are actually the second person who has said something about “club ethics” and I totally agree. I don’t want to get off topic but people these days really have no more respect for much of anything and it is truely sad and in my opinion will be the ultimate demise of the sport. I wish I could fix that but ultimatley that is up to each one of us and is beyond the scope of the Pigeon Insider because this little website alone can’t change how people think and act or their personalities. But maybe just by bringing attention to the problem enough like you have it will help people to see the problem, so thanks for posting it and taking the time to participate.
First, Thanks for Pigeon Insider, it is a very informative site for beginner to old timer.
1) different recipe mixes for beginning of year to end, covering breeding to short/long races, to wintering.
2) Mixing your own feed to cover all parts of the year.
3) The most important part of the sport is one’s ability to become a good loft manager, poor management skills is the biggest determining factor of loosing or winning races.
Loft management is 70%, good birds are 30% in any loft.
Hey Jeff, thanks a million for the kind words and for participating! I have noted all your comments so please stay tuned. Thanks again!
hi Chris i too love this website so thanks to u i dont need to scour the web for information i just browse ur site.
i have kept pigeons since i was 8 now im 66 ive had my share of wins and would win more if i was more motivated but it is just a hobby to me.
what i hate the most is the falcons that hammer the birds here in australia and every yr they seem to be getting more numerious and i guess we cant do much about that!!!

Hey Geoff, thanks so much for the kind words about the site!! wow you have been in the game for a while and it’s a pleasure to meet a seasoned fancier like yourself. I hear your frustrations about predator birds, we have alot ourselves here in the states. Thanks for participating in this project and stay tuned for the outcome!. Glad to have you part of the family!
Hi geoff,
See my comments to Tommy (above) on building a Electrical Pipe Tripod to place in front of your landing board, if that is where you are getting your attacks. It worked for me.

How can i make them fly faster and break away?
How can i motivate them to trap fast?
Hey Aris, great questions and thanks for participating I have noted your comments, please stay tuned.
1st you have to have quality birds
2nd you must have a good loft management system. feeding, meds and supplements and training. 3rd the most frustrating is the constant in fighting in clubs and combines.
Hey Denny thanks for posting your comments! unfortuantley I agree with you about the whole fighting thing in the clubs and I wish I could change peoples personalities lol but I can’t so I think that frustration is out of our reach that we can fix.
1, How to train so they race not Home.
2, What to feed prior to race for short distance.
3, what medication and when during racing.
Hey Paulo I hear you loud and clear, thanks for participating your comments have been noted!
how to feed and train from short to long,( day to day) trying to get birds to brake from the pack ( live on short end) being able to give back to the sport!
Hey Treetop!, thanks for participating your comments have been noted.
Hi,
Firstly..Feed before and during the young bird races.
A menu of mixtures by percentages.
secondly young birds get sick after the ist race or by the 2nd race what kind of medication to give them as I fly few birds how to get them back in conditions.
Thirdly right time to breed youngsters as Canadian weather is cold and you have to have the birds in right condition to to be in form with have way moulted and few drop flights thats the end of the season for me.
Thanks
Shah
Thank you Shah for participating, your comments have been noted!
